Yasuhara Seichō (Yasuhara Takehiko) was born December 23, 1924 in Kanazawa. He studied Kinko-ryū shakuhachi under Suzuki Seikyō. He began teaching in 1969. He belonged to the Hokuriku branch of the Bifu-kai.
