William Jia Gottlieb, M.D., has a unique and diverse background in the integration of Eastern and Western world views. He has a B.A. in physics from the University of Colorado and received his M.D. from Northwestern University. After completing a residency in Family Practice, he underwent extensive training in acupuncture in Beijing, China. In addition, he holds a black belt in Aikido from Iwama, Japan and has been a long time student of Ashtanga Yoga, Zen meditation, and the Shakuhachi.
