Studied under Michio Miyagi. He married Keiko Ueno, a matchmaker for Mr. Miyagi. He was highly trusted by Mr. Miyagi and supported him as vice president of the Miyagi Society. Together with his wife Keiko and his sister-in-law Kazuko, he founded the Shofukai and devoted himself to carrying on Michio Miyagi's artistic lineage.
