Born in Osaka 1886. Studied Ikuta-ryū koto with Tateyama Noboru. Former director of the Tōdō Hōgaku-kai Ōsaka Sankyoku Association. Given the Distinguished Service in Social Education Award by the governor of Ōsaka Prefecture.
