Born March 24, 1942 in Wakayama Prefecture, Nakamura Ginetsu (Nakamura Otohiko) studied Kinko-ryū shakuhachi under Nakagawa Ginrei. He started teaching in 1966. He was the general affairs officer of the Ginyū-kai.
