	This is one of the rare honkyoku pieces played as a duet. Although old, this recording conveys for me the honor of having been performed together with Kakizakai Sensei.
2	Tamuke	手向		Shakuhachi: Horacio Curti
	Symbolized with the gesture of putting the palms together in front of the chest, this piece is traditionally performed both at funerals and memorials for the deceased.

4	Sagari Ha (Don't know which version)	下り葉		Shakuhachi: Horacio Curti
	The title refers to the moment previous to the falling of a leaf from a tree. The piece uses komibuki a technique that represents the Northern wind blowing through a Bamboo forest.
5	Sokkan	息観		Shakuhachi: Horacio Curti
	Serene contemplation of one's breathing.
6	Choshi (Myoan Shinpo Ryu)	調子		Shakuhachi: Horacio Curti
	Basic melody, beginning. This honkyoku has one of the simplest structures and, perhaps for this reason, it is also one of the more complex pieces.

	It is fascinating to search within the sound richness of the instrument by minimizing the resources to be used.

	Cranes are precious birds in Japan. This piece makes reference to their life cycle.
9	Shingetsu	心月		Shakuhachi: Horacio Curti
	The first ideogram menas at the same time mind, heart and spirit. The second one, the moon, has a special significance in Buddhism related to enlightenment.
