Suzuki Itsujin (Suzuki Noriaki) was born February 11, 1901 in Gunma Prefecture. He studied Itsudō-ha Kinko-ryū shakuhachi under Ikeda Itsuren and began teaching in 1960. He was a member of the Shakuhachi Itsuren-kai. He was a teacher and performer for more than 40 years.
